LogDaily ("the App") is a personal habit and health tracking application for iPhone. It was created as a personal hobby project and is shared freely. The App is designed to work entirely on your device with no internet connectivity required.
This Privacy Policy explains what data the App handles, where it is stored, and your rights with respect to that data.
We collect no data. LogDaily does not collect, transmit, store on remote servers, or share any information about you or your use of the App.
Everything you enter into LogDaily is stored exclusively in your iPhone's local storage using Apple's SwiftData framework. This includes tracker names, entries, field values, and settings. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export it yourself.
The App contains no analytics libraries, crash reporters, usage trackers, or any form of telemetry. The developer has no visibility into how the App is used.
The App requires no account, no sign-in, and no email address. There is no user registration process of any kind.
All data is stored locally on your device in the App's private sandbox. This includes:
The App does not use iCloud Drive, iCloud Key-Value Storage, or any other Apple cloud service. Your data is not synced across devices.
CSV export files written to the App's Documents folder are visible in the iOS Files app under "On My iPhone → LogDaily". This is local storage on your device, not cloud storage.
You can delete all App data at any time by uninstalling LogDaily from your device. iOS completely removes the App's sandbox, including all trackers and entries, when the App is uninstalled. You can also delete individual entries or entire trackers within the App at any time.
LogDaily does not make any network connections. The App has no networking code and does not require an internet connection to function. It works fully offline at all times.
No data is transmitted to the developer, to Apple (beyond standard OS-level diagnostics you may have opted into separately in iOS Settings), or to any third party.
LogDaily integrates no third-party SDKs, advertising networks, analytics services, or social media frameworks. There are no third-party libraries in the App beyond Apple's own system frameworks (SwiftUI, SwiftData, Swift Charts).
No data is sold, rented, or shared with any third party under any circumstances.
The App contains no advertisements of any kind. There is no advertising SDK, no ad network integration, and no monetization through advertising. The App is free and contains no in-app purchases or subscription fees.
LogDaily is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). Because the App collects no data of any kind, it presents no specific privacy risk to younger users. However, parents or guardians should supervise app usage by minors and are responsible for any data entered by children in their care.

LogDaily is not a medical device and does not provide medical, health, dietary, therapeutic, or any other professional advice. Information logged in the App should not be used to make medical decisions. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from the use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of goodwill, or any other intangible losses, even if the developer has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of data you enter into the App, for maintaining backups of your data, and for any decisions made based on information tracked in the App. The developer accepts no responsibility for data loss resulting from device failure, App uninstallation, iOS updates, or any other cause.
Users are solely responsible for any misuse of the App, including using it in ways that could cause harm to themselves or others. The developer bears no legal responsibility for such misuse.
The developer may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. Because the App does not collect contact information, we cannot notify you directly of changes.
